Pada hari senin kemarin tepatnya pada tanggal 25
hingga 28 April 2016 mendatang Mahkamah
Kehormatan Dewan (MKD) melakukan studi banding ke negara Inggris, 14
dari keseluruhan anggota MKD yang berjumlah 17 anggota akan ikut studi banding
ke negara inggris. Tujuan MKD ke Negeri Inggris tersebut tidak lain untuk
meningkatkan fungsi serta peran MKD. Menurut Surahman Hidayat selaku ketua MKD
menuturkan bahwa studi banding ini sangat penting dilakukan, karena dapat
meningkatkan fungsi dan peran MKD. Surahman Hidayat menuturkan lebih lanjut
kenapa memilih negara inggris untuk studi banding, karena Negara Inggris merupakan
negara tertua yang telah sejak dahulu maju tuturnya.

Sebenarnya memperkuat MKD tidak hanya dilakukan
lewat studi banding saja, tapi hendaknya harus dibicarakan oleh anggota DPR
tentang bagaimana MKD agar lebih bisa indevenden, integritas, sehingga punya
legitimasi tinggi untuk mengadili anggota DPR yang melakukan dugaan pelanggaran
etika. Sehingga secara bersama-sama, dapat meningkatkan kinerja masing-masing
lembaga. Melihat kinerja DPR dalam satu tahun terakhir, anggota DPR hanya
menghasilkan 3 Undang-undang saja, itupun undang-undang yang telah diselesaikan
ditahun 2015 silam dan disahkan pada tahun ini.
Perlukah MKD atau anggota DPR melakukan studi
banding ke negara inggris, jika alasan sederhanya saja untuk meningkatkan peran
dan fungsi legislasi serta fungsi-fungsi lainnya ? Menurut penulis itu tidak
perlu dilakukan, karena dapat mengurangi kas negara serta memberikan pengaruh
negatif terhadap kinerja MKD dan DPR di mata rakyat. Seyogyanya MKD dan DPR
harus sadar akan dimana peran serta fungsinya sebagai lembaga yang menjunjung
tinggi Nilai-nilai pancasila, bukan melirik bagaimana kinerja negara lain
seperti Inggris dan Amerika. Kita adalah negara yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai
pancasila dan tidak sepatutnya lebih menyontohi negara-negara yang tidak satu
frame dengan ideologi pancasila.

Guru
adalah seorang pendidik yang menjadi inspirasi dan panutan bagi peserta
didiknya. Guru bukan hanya seorang pengajar materi pelajaran semata, tapi guru
merupakan seorang public figure yang
berusaha menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter bagi peserta didiknya. Selain menjadi public figure guru juga menjadi seorang modeling, yang artinya guru itu sebagai
panutan yang patut dicontoh, baik itu dari
segi berpakaian, tuturkata, ramah tamah maupun gaya berperilaku dan
bertindak dengan peserta didik, sesama guru maupun sesama masyarakatnya.
Menjadi
seorang guru memanglah tidak mudah, karena rintangan yang dihadapi seorang guru
tidak sama dengan profesi lainnya. Seorang guru yang profesional pasti tetap
maju dan melangkah walau rintangannya sebesar apapun. Guru dengan motivasinya
untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, sesuai dengan amanat UUD Thn 1945. Menerima
segala tantangan zaman yang menghampirinya. Menjadi guru harus mampu
mengimbangi tantangan zaman tersebut dengan menggunakan metode yang Cooperative, Inovative dan menginspirasi
peserta didik.

Arthur Ward, bahwa guru dibagi menjadi 4 siafat diantaranya:
